Beta Reader Bookings LLC has launched its affiliate program. Affiliate partners can earn 5% on certain beta reading sales generated from their unique referral links.
How it works
Approved affiliate partners will be assigned a unique referral link. The link can be used on social media, in blog posts, and more. If an author uses your link to place an online order, you’ll earn 5% of the total they spend. At this time, only beta reading orders placed through the website will count as verified affiliate sales. Orders placed via email cannot be credited to an affiliate partner. Affiliate partners will not receive credit for refunded orders or orders for editorial services.
Affiliate payments are sent via PayPal on the 15th of each month. Affiliates must have an active PayPal account to receive payments. Affiliate payments are subject to applicable PayPal fees. Affiliate partners may be required to fill out a W-9 (for the U.S.) or a W-8BEN (for international partners).
Who can apply?
It’s important that affiliate partners maintain the company’s image. Partners should follow ethical practices when sharing their referral link.
Here are some guidelines:
- Do not spam authors with your unique link
- Be honest about earning commissions
- Only apply as an affiliate if you would already recommend our beta reading services
- Only share your link when/where appropriate
Beta Reader Bookings LLC reserves the right to terminate its affiliate program or its professional relationship with an affiliate, at any time, for any reason. If an affiliate is removed from the program, all earned credits will be sent to the PayPal account on file.
The best affiliate partners will be authors or businesses who have already used our services.
However, we are also accepting affiliate partners who haven’t been clients.
Here are some examples:
- Authors who want to recommend our services to friends
- Cover designers, book formatters, publishers, etc.
- Editors who do not offer paid beta reading
How to apply as an affiliate partner
Previous and current clients are automatically approved as affiliate partners. If you’ve used our services, send an email to [email protected] and let us know you’d like to sign up. To streamline the process, it would be helpful to send the email from the email address you used to place an order.
All others interested in becoming an affiliate partner should also send an email to [email protected]. However, in that email, please include the following information.
- Your full name
- Why you want to become an affiliate
- Links to where you want to use your referral link (your website, blog, YouTube channel, social media profile, etc.)
- Your country or state
Beta Reader Bookings LLC should be able to contact you through the channels you’ve indicated. This is for verification purposes.
